file-roller version 2.8.3:

mkdir testdir
tar cvf testdir.tar testdir/

Open archive in file-roller. There is no directory inside, but there should be
testdir

"empty dirs are skipped when creating archive of *any* type

Dapper, updated.

If there are empty dirs in the data I'm archiving, they will be not included in the archive. This happens both at right click->create archive and when adding data to file-roller window by drag'n'drop.

This is VERY bad.
