i have a additional file which i can send to everbody interessted - because of
size (1.2mb) i can not attach it.
Comment 3 Stephane Loeuillet 2004-12-12 17:42:40 UTC
hum, looking at the file, it is an ASF container with WMV2+WMA2
so, the summary is bad

i'm able to play it with totem (gst core CVS & plugins CVS + totem from CVS)
only a small A/V sync problem

with gst-player, it crashes, speaking about a X sync error :
The program 'gst-player' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
  (Details: serial 48 error_code 2 request_code 141 minor_code 19)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

closing this bug as : it works in gstreamer CVS+totem CVS, the gst-player
problem is known as bug #141615

please open another bug for any other file which won't play with current/latest
versions available
