Description Stanislav Brabec 2004-12-03 12:06:35 UTC
Suppose the machine uses remote esound connection or esound daemon started in
boot time.

In this situation if you want to set "Sound for events", you should not set
"Enable sound server startup" (in better case it causes error reports in log, in
worse case it causes sound redirection due to bug in older versions of esd).

But it is impossible in current GUI.
Comment 1 Kjartan Maraas 2004-12-30 22:39:02 UTC
Sounds reasonable.
Comment 2 Stanislav Brabec 2005-10-22 18:19:17 UTC
Still valid for GNOME 2.12.
