In the new basic mode, the window is so narrow that the titlebar text
"Calculator   - Basic Mode" doesn't fit.  Suggest dropping the word "Mode" from
the titlebar (probably for all modes, not just this one).

Fixed as you suggested. Changes checked into CVS
HEAD. Version number in configure.in bumped to
v5.5.18. Thanks.
