Description Karel Demeyer 2004-11-27 18:37:58 UTC
Put an emblem on a directory,
drag the directory.
When dragging the dir, you can still read the name and view the icon of the
directory but not the emblem.

I'd expect it to drag the same as it shows on my desktop. It's like in
reallife, I put stickers on files. When I move them, the stickers are still on
'm ;)

Comment 4 Karel Demeyer 2005-08-23 18:19:36 UTC
BUG 144256 is about the emblem not showing after the dragging was done. this
bug is about the emblem WHILE dragging. so its not a duplicate in fact.

Karel is right.

Proposed patch

The attached patch fixes this at least for the icon view. The list view seems
to be more tricky. I was neither able to render a cell renderer to an offscreen
drawable, not could I copy a particular area from the list view's GdkWindow to
a pixbuf. The output just looked crippled, although it was right in size.
Help appreciated.

I've also submitted this patch to the nautilus mailing list [1] for review.

Comment 7 Alexander Larsson 2005-08-29 08:49:29 UTC
This will have to wait until 2.13. This is not a showstopper.
Comment 8 Christian Neumair 2005-09-26 15:19:59 UTC
I've committed the attached patch.
Comment 9 Thomas Winwood 2005-12-20 05:21:42 UTC
Seems to be fixed as of Nautilus 2.13.3 (Ubuntu 6.04). Suggest resolve as FIXED.
Comment 10 Teppo Turtiainen 2006-09-03 17:40:33 UTC
Confirmed as FIXED with Nautilus 2.14.3 on Ubuntu Dapper.
