Description Alan Horkan 2004-11-22 17:42:10 UTC
The menu should be a top level menu, it should be moved out from under the Viewe
menu.

The View, Go menu gets very big very fast, it is not a good idea in terms of
usability to have large submenus.

It would make gthumb more consistant with the likes of Nautilus and Mozilla.
There is plenty of room in the menubar for another menu even on displays as
small as 640x480

I hope someone else will make the change first but I'll try and make a patch.

Alan: gThumb > 2.6 (CVS HEAD) has this additional menu.

Naveen: You just moved the Stop/Refresh items from the view into the go menu.
This is counter-productive. Epiphany has them in the view menu as well.

I'm closing this for now. Feel free to reopen if I'm taken wrong.
