GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 158609
Gnome-cups-manager doesn't respect single click option
Last modified: 2012-02-28 15:52:32 UTC
Gnome-cups-manager requires double clicks to open printer dialogues, new printer etc. This is the case despite the option been set for files to be single click only. This is counter-intuitive and could be very confusing for users that have no experience of double clicking (whats the point anyway?).
Tracking this in Debian at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=272237.
I completely agree, although it could be argued that gnome-cups-manager is not a Nautilus component, and therefore there should be no dependencies on Nautilus settings.
