Description Bernd Bartmann 2004-11-14 21:58:46 UTC
gnome-terminal does not restore its correct size after saving the
session when logging out and logging in again. This happens for me on a Fedora
Core 3 system where my $HOME is NFS-mounted.

After creating a clean new user environment, setting up my the gnome-terminals
as I like it, logging out and saving the session I'm getting a different layout
of the terminals every time after logging in.

This works for me. Maybe some one can reproduce this?
Comment 4 Bernd Bartmann 2004-11-14 23:00:14 UTC
I forgot to mention that I already opened bug a year ago at Red Hat's bugzilla
where some other replied that they also see this problem:

Comment 5 Kjartan Maraas 2005-08-19 19:45:56 UTC
Could you try a later release of gnome-terminal and VTE and report back?
Comment 6 Bernd Bartmann 2005-08-19 19:50:48 UTC
I'm still seeing this problem with FC4 fully updated.
Comment 7 Alex Combas 2005-12-20 06:39:18 UTC
Im on BreezyBadger with Gnome-Terminal-2.12
and I also have this exact problem.

Need any more info on this?
Comment 8 Guilherme de Siqueira Pastore 2006-01-12 16:26:23 UTC
Trying hard, but cannot reproduce this with 2.13.1.
Comment 9 Joachim Frieben 2006-03-14 19:42:44 UTC
Works for me on a current FC5-rawhide system (GNOME Terminal 2.14.0).
Comment 10 Guilherme de Siqueira Pastore 2006-03-14 19:48:41 UTC
Alex? Bernd? What do you say?
Comment 11 gregm 2006-04-02 16:53:15 UTC
I think my fix should catch this as well, gnome-terminal wasn't saving the full geometry.
