Description Samuel Abels 2004-11-13 14:20:06 UTC
Please describe the problem:
(I'm running version number 0.5.14, which was not available in the selection)

Trying to rip a multi-artist CD with an Artist name of "Various" and song titles
like "My Artist / My Song" sj generates a filename with all the slashes stripped
away from the title.

I scanned a whole lot of CDs and found this to be a very common naming scheme,
so there should probably be a sane replacement for this character, a dash, maybe.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Insert a multi-artist CD.

2. Note that the naming scheme is: Artist name "Sampler" and song title "My
Artist / My Song".

3. Press the "Extract" button.

4. Note that the file is named "01 - My Artist My Song.ogg".

Actual results:

Expected results:
The '/' character should be replaced by a dash, or a comma, maybe.

Does this happen every time?
Yep.

Brief summary: detect and optionally correct badly tagged multi-artist metadata
where the title is of the form "artist / title".

Note that this is a MusicBrainz metadata error and should also be corrected on
their site.
