Confirming. I see these in Gedit 2.6.x

it helps to be verbose in your descriptions it took me a while to identify
exactly what you meant and where exactly the clashes were.
Both "_Add" and "Ch_aracter Coding" use the same accellerator (namely _a).
Dont know why "Character Coding" didn't just use _C which seems to be available.

As for the Job tab of the Print dialog
_C is used for both _Cancel and _Collate (which is greyed out by default).

Damian, I'm not certain about Gedit does things but most projects would prefer
seperate reports for seperate problems.
Although it is the same kind of problem, I'd have filed two bug reports one for
the Save dialog and another for the Print dialog.

yup I saw those in the screenshot... I'll fix them soon in the unstable branch
(they cannot be fixed in 2.8.X because they break translated strings)

grerat, I will log seperate bugs in future, thanks Damian

pbor: are you on it?
Comment 10 Paolo Borelli 2004-10-31 22:44:21 UTC
fixed the one in the file chooser (_Character coding).

AFAICS the other one (_Collate) comes from gnome-print. Reassigning.

Trivial patch

This is a simple patch to change the duplicate hotkey for the gnome print
dialog. It changes it from _Collate to C_ollate. The other obvious choice, l,
was not chosen because, per HIG, they are too skinny.
