Description Elijah Newren 2004-10-15 04:53:01 UTC
This will be a tracker for key and mouse bindings. I am avoiding bugs about "I
want a keybinding to do X" (though one or two may have slipped in), and am
trying to collect bugs about keybindings that already exist but don't work as
expected. I will start this off with the following dependencies in a minute:

90290 not allowed to move immediately after double-click-roll-up
91538 allow multiple keybindings for the same function
103516 super bound to other action ("compose"), but still used for modifier
103584 keyboard grab not released under heavy load
108775 should be a way to bind extra mouse buttons to actions
112560 keybindings have to be fully released before the grab ends
116041 ctrl-alt-arrow acts on wrong screen for multiscreen
117995 alt-click doesn't raise when over some window buttons
136488 switch windows by XF86XK_RotateWindows keysym by default
143154 key release events not captured, leading to a stuck grab
151554 half of modifiers are hosed by upstream Xorg change
152169 temporary lock ups on all window controls
154297 custom keybindings disables keyboard

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/metacity/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
