Description Reid Orsten 2004-10-14 04:12:32 UTC
Do a fresh install of GNOME 2.8.0, run evolution 2.0, turn on the E-Address
conduit in palm settings, sync. Address book contacts do not appear in the
evolution contact list. Sync again: all contacts now appear in duplicate on the
palm.

This seems to happen because
$PREFIX/share/gnome-pilot/conduits/e-address.conduit is used instead of
e-address-2.0.conduit. I moved the old version of out of the directory,
restarted gpilotd, resynced, and everything worked fine.

I should clarify that the version of gnome-pilot installed by this version of
gentoo's gnome 2.8 package is 2.0.12.
