Description Mark McLoughlin 2004-10-12 17:39:51 UTC
From Fedora:

  https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=135426

The transtaltion of "Take screenshot" is badly translated. The word
"Skjermdump" is a direct translation which doesn't really go well in
norwegian. This name is used in the menu, in the application itself
and in the default file name for the screenshots.

I suggest one replace "Ta skjermdump" with "Lagr skjermbilde" which
translates to "Save screen image", which is a better way to describe
just what the application does and it has a much better sound to it in
  norwegian.

As for the default filename of the screen shot, I suggest this is
  changed from "Skjermdump" to "Skjermbilde".

I'm going to close this as WONTFIX. Skjermbilde is just used in too many
different contexts IMO. Feel free to take it up for discussion on the list at
i18n-nb@lister.ping.uio.no if you disagree.
