GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 154104
Date and time should be able to edit tasks
Last modified: 2020-11-07 12:15:27 UTC
When I open up 'date and time' applet to display the calendar, it will also list my tasks. While I can edit the percentage done, I should also be able to edit the comments, in my opinion (or other options, but they don't concern me :-))
Reassigning to panel. Which is where the clock applet is.
Would at least be nice if you could click and bring up the tasks- last I tested this, that didn't happen. [NB that I can't get tasks to show up at all right now, no idea why; calendar seems to work fine.]
The "click should bring up the task in evolution" bug is bug #162305.
This is valid also for normal calendar events!

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old feature requests in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years. If you still use gnome-panel and if you are still requesting this feature in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-panel/-/issues/ Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be implemented.
