I think thomas has stated elsewhere that anything that is win32 specific and
which doesn't influence the Unix build etc., you are free to commit on without
going through bugzilla. If this is the case here Steve then just commit this and
close the bug.
Comment 3 Steve Lhomme 2004-12-06 16:26:38 UTC
I will commit when I have the time (dunno when). Larry Berlinski have been
working on it and improving it. Maybe you could give him write access ?
Comment 4 David Schleef 2004-12-17 01:24:46 UTC
Is there something special that needs to be done other than generating these on
Linux and copying them over? If not, we should probably make that part of the
release process.

I'm updating the files on this assumption; please confirm.
Comment 5 David Schleef 2004-12-17 01:27:10 UTC
(Note to whomever copies over files -- run indent-gst first.)
Comment 6 Steve Lhomme 2004-12-17 09:00:24 UTC
Larry has the file build with Perl the same way as in Unix. But I really don't
have the time to look at this for the moment.
Comment 7 Christian Fredrik Kalager Schaller 2004-12-17 12:47:08 UTC
Since this is merged now I am closing this bug. David when you commit patches
please use the name of the patchmaker as the Changelog entry with your own name
as 'reviewed by'. If not then we will not see who has contributed to latest
release which means release notes will leave people out.
Comment 8 David Schleef 2004-12-18 01:12:38 UTC
Christian, please read comments first before modifying things like ChangeLog
entries. I didn't use Steve's name in the ChangeLog entry because _I didn't
apply the patch_. I used a completely different method, and I don't want people
complaining to Steve about it. You also closed the bug before there was any
confirmation whether it works or not. In the end, it doesn't really matter.
