GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 153426
gnome-netstatus lacks traffic graph
Last modified: 2011-07-10 02:43:11 UTC
The modemlights applet shows a graph of traffic. This is a _lot_ nicer than just the flashing colours of the gnome-netstatus applet. Please consider adding this feature.
You can use the multiload applet for the traffic graph. I have three network related applets next to each other: netstat (to show connection status and wifi strength), multiload (traffic graph) and netspeed (current transfer speed in kilobytes per second).
gnome-netstatus development has been stalled [1]. Maintainers don't have future development plan so i am closing the bugs as WONTFIX. [1] http://mail.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2011-June/msg00073.html
