GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 153073
Images of the same size are displayed with a different size in the preview
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
I would expect that images of the same size have also the same size during the preview. I'll attach two sample images
Created attachment 31688 [details] This one gets a preview which I think has the right size
Created attachment 31689 [details] This one gets a preview which is too small
For very small files we use the file itself as the thumbnail and use a different form of scaling, and we add no frame. Such small files are very commonly icons, so this makes sense for them.
In my opinion you should query the height and the width of the image first and then make a decision. I noticed that with png's this doesn't happen. BTW I'm looking into code to see if I can make a patch :-).
Created attachment 34297 [details] screenshot showing current behaviour
Created attachment 34298 [details] screenshot after the patch
Created attachment 34299 [details] [review] The patch that fixes this
patch in cvs. thanks.
