GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 152934
caps error during mp3 import
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
This bug was originally filed here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=126662 Description of problem: When indexing a large folder of music, containing ogg, flac, and mp3 using rythmbox, this error message pops up: Internal GStreamer error: caps problem. File a bug. file:///home/kyrre/musikk/Opeth/Black Waterpark/08 - Opeth - Blackwater park.mp3
I was asked to post the file - an i shall do so. BTW i tested the file in xmms and it played. The URL for the file is: http://linux.solution-forge.net/08%20-%20Opeth%20-%20Blackwater%20park.mp
http://www.linux.solution-forge.net/08 - Opeth - Blackwater park.mp3 *fix broken link*
Your file starts with 140kB of random trash before anything that looks like a valid mp3 frame is detected. That's why autoplugging fails. I don't know how to fix that. I think we need a general "we don't support completely and utterly broken mp3s" bug and dup this to that.
