I'm not sure where eggcups bug reports go. Cc'ing Tim Waugh.
Re-assigning.
Given there are already several dupes, should it stay unconfirmed ?
(see also bug #153530)
The eggcups side of this crash should be fixed by 0.14.1. Could you try upgrading to desktop-printing 0.14.1?
Marking as fixed, please reopen if you can still reproduce.

Someone duplicated with FC3, which looks like it uses desktop-printing 0.17.

/me wonders why no one got this with FC3 in the first week and a half, and then suddenly 3 people did today...

This looks like it might be related to prelink. Can someone try running: prelink /usr/lib/libdbus*so*?

This is going to really suck; it looks like we've got ourselves another massive dupe bug like 59500 or 94625. I'm adding the bugbuddy keyword to hopefully reduce the number of duplicates a little bit...

> This looks like it might be related to prelink. Can someone try running: > prelink /usr/lib/libdbus*so*? Comment #13 (prelink) fixed the issue for me (and it also fixed dbus issue with gnome-volume-manager as well) FYI, this happened after updating from FC3 isos -> Sat Nov 20th yum update.
Cool, thanks for the info David. I'll add it to the summary so that bugbuddy users will see it. :-)

FYI, this bug is also being tracked in the Fedora bugzilla database as bug #140103, http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=140103 The command "prelink /usr/lib/libdbus*so*" worked for all my FC3 systems (run after updating to kernel 2.6.9-1.678_FC3 and rebooting).

erm, it was only doing it when i first installed Totem, i was guessing it was because Gstreamer didn't have the plugins needed, and that Totem was not handling that situation gracefully. It seems to have stopped happening now that i've installed the plugins ... i could uninstall them, but it's a ball ache ... and i Yum'ed the latest gstreamer-plugins yesterday ... urgh.

Sorry guys, I was geekin' and added the gnome-volume-manager stuff on accident. That's what I get for not checking my tab. Sorry about that.

Would the idiot maintainer for this bug remove my email maxer1@xmission.com!
RaXeT: Unfortunately, bugzilla is somewhat idiotic and doesn't allow that. See bug 109735, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94247, and bug 89889. However, I will file a separate bug, mark it as a tracker, and mark this as a duplicate of that one so that you hopefully won't get any further bugzilla email.
