Description eagsalazar 2004-07-30 02:18:11 UTC
An area of major inconsistency in notification area items is the behavior when
the item is clicked on once. For example, muine shows a menu when left clicked
and gaim shows the main window when left clicked once.

I looked in the hig and there is an action defined for double-click but not
single left click. If there should be no action with single left click then
that should be defined.

However, I assume that, in fact, what was intended was that the phrase "double
click" should have been "single left click" to describe the action that causes
the item to display its main window since a) this is what most apps do, b)that
would make more sense since all "active application" interactions are always
single click interactions and only launching a new application from an icon has
ever been a double click operation.

So, maybe this bug is just to fix a typo. I don't know.

Yep, single click makes more sense here. Fixed in draft.
