The Properties window isn't resizable.  This makes it fairly useless for the #1
thing I use it for: to see the full file name path of items on my desktop.  The
path info always gets truncated with "...", and the only way for me to see the
full thing is to drop into Emacs and look in my Desktop directory entries directly.

Looks like this bug has already been fixed (bug 117214) and it came back
somehow. A very similar patch is also present at this bug...
