Description soban 2004-07-18 20:01:10 UTC
steps to reproduce:
1. browse with epiphany
2. kill epiphany (or let it crash)
3. shut down your internet access
4. Start epiphany again
5. close epiphany
6. start up your internet access again
7. re-open epiphany

what I expected to happen
8.1. To see the session back again

what really happened
8.2 To see blank windows and tabs.

extra's
The exact amount of windows and tabs open up again, but all address boxes (sorry
don't have the english translation installed) are empty.
This happened to me before, in older versions, but I was always to lazy to
report it. (parents nod behind the back)

Mass reassigning of Epiphany bugs to epiphany-maint@b.g.o

Ugh, looking at the text I must have been out of sleep for too long when I
reported the bug ;)

What I wanted to say is that it would be nice if epiphany saved (session-wise)
the URLs even for pages that it didn't manage to load.

It's somewhat frustrating that, whenever I move with my laptop from a location
with internet access to somewhere without (with a reboot in-between), epiphany
always looses the URLs for most of the pages I had opened except for some pages
that it seems to have cached somewhere.

This bug is bothering me for some time now; maybe even to the point that I'd try
to work out a patch if someone pointed me into the right direction ;)

This is fixed in cvs and will be in version 1.8.0 for GNOME 2.12.

Thanks for the bug report!
