Description Michael A. Peters 2004-06-23 18:33:41 UTC
Install the Schreibmaschine ttf font
Launch AbiWord 2
create document using font
Choose "Create a PDF document" from the Print dialog box.
Resulting PDF document is bad.

I contacted the font foundry, they have given development license to the gnome
developers for development purposes. I will forward their e-mail and a gzipped
copy of the font to the gnome developer who wished to confirm this bug.

Which locale are you using?
Comment 4 Michael A. Peters 2004-06-23 19:21:48 UTC
I believe en-US (utf8??) - whatever the default for Fedora Core 2 is.
Comment 5 Michael A. Peters 2004-06-23 19:25:10 UTC
Other ttf fonts I have purchased work fine - I don't buy a lot, but I have
bought others - this is the first that doesn't. Other fonts I have bought that
work (from myfonts.com) - Helvetica, Palatino Linotype, Shimmer, Shimmer Bold,
Phollic

Could you give things a try with cvs head ?
Comment 7 Michael A. Peters 2004-08-28 05:51:44 UTC
I will try next weekend (this weekend I have too much studying)
Comment 8 Jody Goldberg 2004-09-09 01:15:28 UTC
Any luck with cvs head ?
Comment 9 Jody Goldberg 2004-11-18 16:46:03 UTC
I wonder if this is related to 158424
Comment 10 Jody Goldberg 2005-03-24 19:53:23 UTC
Please try again with libgnomeprint HEAD from CVS.
Comment 11 Michael A. Peters 2005-03-25 01:48:18 UTC
Will try in fc4t1 next week.
Comment 12 Jody Goldberg 2005-03-25 02:59:02 UTC
Great. Although I should be clear. This will require the soon to be released
2.10.3 or cvs head. I'm not sure which packages will be in fc4tl.
Comment 13 Jody Goldberg 2005-09-22 15:53:36 UTC
Did you ever get a chance to try >= 2.10.3 ?
Comment 14 Michael A. Peters 2005-09-22 16:32:33 UTC
My apologies for taking so long to respond - it does works perfectly with
current gnomeprint in fc4 (2.10.3), so this can be closed.
