Description Eduardo Habkost 2004-06-04 15:52:46 UTC
The behaviour was changed on CVS since 2003/11/14, when Frank Pavageau's patch
was applied. The main use of this report to me was calculating the gains and
loss every month, considering the transactions for gains and losses for other
months, when calculating total money-in and money-out.
I will attach a patch to this bug that adds a option for choosing between the
old and new behaviour.
Probably this change is related to bug #105801. Maybe that is what the
reporter of that bug wants, if I understood his bug report correctly.

Thanks for the patch

I applied mostly this patch to 1.8 and HEAD. In particular, I moved the option
to the "general" page, as it's not an "account" option.
