Trying to play the file at http://masher.homeip.net/~jan/media/plastoc.avi
fails, because the file (created by mencoder) specifies the fourcc 'mpg1' for
mpeg1 video. I'm not sure the origin of this fourcc, but it and several others
'MPG1', 'MPG2', 'mpg2' are known to ffmpeg and mplayer and should perhaps be added
