Description joe Moore 2004-05-26 18:13:20 UTC
I thought there was a way to do envelope style budgeting.
I would contribute cash, and download only if ithad that feature.
Please advise.
Thank you.

No, there is no budgetting feature, yet. The easiest way to implement something
at this point would be a report that estimated your account balances based on
your Scheduled Transactions. Nobody has yet written that report.

This is also not a Business Component issue, so I've moved it to general and
reassigned the owner.

I've also fixed the summary (don't need all caps) and changed severity to
enhancement.

Comment 4 joe Moore 2004-09-25 16:46:46 UTC
Is there any new updates concerning this?
Comment 5 Christian Stimming 2006-01-24 12:47:07 UTC
The experimental SVN-HEAD now contains budget features. See e.g. bug#327636 . Closing this RFE as fixed. If there are any problems or particular RFEs for the existing budgeting code, please file them as separate bugs.
