File roller Version-2.6.0


1)Launch-->applications-->system tools-->archive manager
2)open any two existing archives
3)Highlight any existing file in the archive -->right click copy 4)Paste on the 
other archive

Observation and bug:Cannot copy and paste from one archive to another
NOTE: drag and drop works

Yogeesh: When I follow the steps mentioned by you above and select a file in one
of archives and right-click .... the copy option is  disabled (greyed-out) ...
Is this what you mean by "Cannot copy" in your observation.

  Currently 'copy/cut' and 'paste' is not available between two File-Roller
windows. But this seems to be a very good enhancement.

  This could be achieved using IPC Mechanism. Probably Message Queues would be
useful. But, we need to diffentiate between 'cut/copy' and 'paste' within the
same FRWindow(archive) and that between two different FRWindows(archives).

#153255 is about the copy/paste between nautilus and file-roller, I think that's
the same issue
