Description Eugenia Loli-Queru 2004-04-23 19:52:15 UTC
Scenario:
I am opening a compressed file and I navigate through it with FileRoller to
let's say, /usr/X11R6/libs/folder1/folder2. I am currently on Folder1 and I
have selected Folder2.
I want to extract Folder2.
What FileRoller does is to extract the whole path of the folders before it.
What I want is to extract the Folder2 as /folder2 without all its previous
path. That's how WinZip does it and it is very convenient for me to be able to
isolate and extract specific folders on my desktop without having to deal with
their whole path. Winzip only extracts the folder you dragged n dropped on
your desktop and I think that's the best way of doing it.
