There seem to be some disagreements on mimetypes between shared-mime-info and
gnome-mime-data, for example application/x-python vs. text/x-python.

With GNOME 2.8, that won't be a problem anymore, as freedesktop, and
applications hold all the cards when it comes to defining mime-types, and which
ones they support.
