Description Stephane Loeuillet 2004-04-09 00:42:48 UTC
ronald told me that v4lsrc had those 2 in the past

they were readded to v4l2src but not to v4lsrc

v4l2sec also has "channel" which is a string but i don't really think that
channel management belongs to a gst-plugin (for an app thing)
Comment 1 Fredrik Persson 2006-05-01 20:05:25 UTC
Maybe this is already understood, but "channel" in that sense does not actually refer to a channel such as NBC or CBS, but to the different inputs on the capture hardware. Such as, for example, "Television", "S-video" or "Composite".
Comment 2 Tim-Philipp Müller 2006-07-10 15:42:16 UTC
This is handled via the GstTuner interface these days, isn't it? (Please re-open if not)
