Description rdavis 2004-04-01 19:30:37 UTC
gst-launch filesrc location=file.mp3 ! spider ! alsasink

Get skips at first part of song and high cpu usage.

Per alley_cat on irc: "the ogg problem seems to be scheduler related, i get the
same with opt, --gst-scheduler=basicgthread plays it fine"
Comment 1 Ronald Bultje 2004-04-01 22:22:08 UTC
mp3?
Comment 2 rdavis 2004-04-01 22:26:32 UTC
no I wish you could edit. (I knew I should have :) )

gst-launch filesrc location=file.ogg ! spider ! alsasink
Comment 3 Ronald Bultje 2004-05-16 20:15:32 UTC
We fixed an alsasink skip bug lately, could you retry with current CVS? I think
this is fixed now.
Comment 4 Ronald Bultje 2004-05-16 20:16:17 UTC
(setting to NEEDINFO, not to annoy, but simply because it is removed from the
buglist then ;) ).
Comment 5 rdavis 2004-05-25 14:32:57 UTC
Have GStreamer .8.1 now and can't get it do it anymore. Must have been fixed.
