Description Benjamin Otte (Company) 2004-03-25 00:37:57 UTC
Every GStreamer tool that is accessed through the gst-run wrapper, does not have
a man page.

"man gst-launch-0.8" works, but "man gst-launch" doesn't.
There needs to either be a symlink to the right man page or at least a page that
explains where to find the man page.

luogni@bucefalo:~$ man gst-launch

works fine (ubuntu dapper)
Comment 2 David Schleef 2007-05-13 21:54:20 UTC
The gst-launch -> gst-launch-0.10 redirection happens automatically by mandb. Your distro should take care of such things. I don't think this is a gstreamer problem, as it works for most people.
