GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 137778
White background in menus
Last modified: 2005-05-12 13:06:56 UTC
With yelp 2.5.91, I'm getting a white background in menu items (i.e. not at the top where it uses the correct gtk color for SELECTED, but only the items *within* each menu) -- namely when using the themes Simple, Grand Canyon, Ocean Dream, Traditional (maybe others). Some themes do not expose this (Crux, for instance). I haven't seen this behavior with any other GNOME app so far.
This might be a duplicate of #142417.
This seems to be related, but I've had a Debian bug report come in: " In some themes (Industrial, Gorilla, some 3rd party themes), the menu bar, toolbar, and verital separator in Yelp seem to follow the background color instead of whatever color has been set for those widgets. In all themes, the background color on the right-side pane is incorrect. " And I can confirm it... the toolbar is White when you choose inDUStrial... and the menu items and seperator. Related?
This is visible without any theme : run yelp => no problem run yelp ghelp:///usr/share/gnome/help/gnome-terminal/C/gnome-terminal.xml and you'll see the problem Mdk bug for this problem : http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=11458

Hi, This appears to be fixed in HEAD using the new menu system and should make it through to the next GNOME release (2.10). Thanks
yes, fixed with 2.9.1
