GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 137696
"Up"/"Down" buttons in bookmarks editor
Last modified: 2014-08-26 19:49:43 UTC
http://bugs.debian.org/228756 is asking for the return of the up/down buttons: Galeon's bookmarks editor used to have "Up" and "Down" buttons that allowed me to move bookmarks around easily. These buttons are still documented in Galeon's documentation. I don't have them anymore though. The bookmarks editor toolbar I get has only these buttons: new bookmark, new folder, new alias, properties, cut, copy, paste, delete and insert separator. Are they supposed to be gone? If so, how can I move bookmarks around easily now? ... On Sun, Feb 01, 2004 at 21:13:14 +0000, Mark Howard wrote: > Drag and drop always works fine for me. But I can live with drag and drop if that's The Accepted Way(tm).
Agreed I miss them.
Galeon has not seen any code changes since May 2010: https://git.gnome.org/browse/archive/galeon/log This project is not under active development anymore and got recently archived in GNOME Git. It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
