GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 137068
Notification area window restore bug
Last modified: 2005-11-28 14:57:44 UTC
When the notification area is clicked, it does not remember the maximization state of the window. On my system, a maximized window does not have a border, which makes a maximized window larger then a window stretched full screen. When rhythm box restores the window, then the size difference hangs off of the edge of the screen.
Steps to reproduce: 1/ launch rhythmbox 2/ maximize the window 3/ right click on rhtyhmbox' icon in the notification area and hide rhythmbox 4/ right click on rhtyhmbox' icon in the notification area and show rhythmbox => the window isn't maximized
This is also a problem for "always on top" windows, not sure whether this is standardized though.
