Description David Malcolm 2004-03-07 18:02:43 UTC
Papyrus (http://papyrus.treshna.com/) is a GPL-licensed XML-based database
report generator.

It has an XML format that describes a way of generating an report from a
database, along with a program that generates the report in a variety of
formats.

There are various ways we could support Papyrus within Conglomerate: the
File->New assistant could have a "Papyrus Report Template" option, we can
create a display specification for the format (though unfortunatley it
doesn't seem to have its own namespace or DTD), and add a tool "Generate
Report" to the tools menu.... etc

Added the dtd to as an attachement. Will releaes a new version with
dtd and any dtd changes to papyrus made later on today.
Comment 4 David Malcolm 2004-03-08 16:52:30 UTC
I'm hoping for a permanent http address for the DTD, so that we can
look for header information like this:
<!DOCTYPE report PUBLIC "-//treshna.com//DTD Papyrus V0.1//EN"

Or something like that...

Conglomerate is not under active development anymore. It is currently unlikely that there will be any further Conglomerate development.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping (bug 685689) to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
