Description David Hollis 2004-03-04 12:06:53 UTC
When I d/l my pictures from my camera, all of the files have an extension
of .JPG. If I point gthumb at the folder where my pics are located, no
images show up. If I rename a files extension to .jpg and refresh the
folder, that particular image will show up, but no others.

maybe you have to install the shared-mime-info package.
Comment 2 Paolo Bacchilega 2004-03-21 18:17:06 UTC
No, it's a bug in gnome_vfs_mime_type_from_name_or_default.
Added a workaround now.
Comment 3 D.S. (Spider) Ljungmark 2004-09-10 13:01:31 UTC
What is the status of this?
Comment 4 David Hollis 2004-09-10 13:32:11 UTC
Looks like it is working properly now. I'm at the latest Fedora rawhide levels:
gnome-vfs2-2.7.92-3
gnome-mime-data-2.4.1-4
gthumb-2.4.1-2
Comment 5 D.S. (Spider) Ljungmark 2004-09-10 15:49:56 UTC
Well, for my 2.6 system this is still an issue (even with gthumb 2.4.2 )
Comment 6 Marco Pesenti Gritti 2004-12-09 16:05:20 UTC
This should be fixed in cvs.
