Description Calum Benson 2004-03-03 17:55:40 UTC
I see lots of cool stuff happening to the wireless applet at
http://snorp.net/log, but as a user I'd rather just have one network
monitor applet on my panel that told me everything, rather than needing
both the wireless applet (for signal strength info) and gnome-network-
monitor (for traffic info).

I filed bug 136083 before I was pointed at the wireless applet
improvements, but I think it would make sense to think about how we could
make one of these two applets go away in future :)

FWIW, here's the latest spec of the way we've started to go with
wireless support in JDS:

Fedora Core 3 does this I think. Mark, did you want to submit the patch Fedora uses?
Comment 3 Danielle Madeley 2005-01-09 07:23:30 UTC
This was done.

This component does not exist anymore so these bugs can be removed from their group.
