GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 135998
Colour Coding
Last modified: 2021-06-09 20:29:03 UTC
I was wondering if there is any way of changing colours in the Planner, that way I could colour code various different items and projects on the same page.
Still not possible.
I would love to have it too... I would like to use different color for "high risk tasks" and ideally for all tasks that are on the critical paths leading to those tasks.
I think that tasks should be able to have a color associated with it. That way in the Gnatt view you can differentiate the different tasks. I've attached a screenshot/example. I'm going to see if I can figure out how to do it myself and submit it as an enhancement. -- Patrick
This is a major stumbling block for implementation of planner in my team. They are used to colour coded tasks based on their type. Please implement something, even if it is a type of task with an associated colour, if not individual colouring.
Please don't post "I want this too" comments. This won't help and will only add noise. If you want to be informed of any progress on a given enhancement request or bug report, just add yourself to CC. View → Highlight critical tasks. They are shown in red.
Ok thanks for the tip. I would normally only submit a bug report, but I saw that the majority of requests were improvement. nevertheless I'll avoid 'me too' posts. But, no, the critical path is good but that's not the same as categorising tasks with a colour. I'm referring to what Slieberman posted.

This is why I didn't close this report, as it's still valid. Please pay more attention to what I'm quoting, I was answering to Jacek Pliszka.
