Description Diego González 2004-02-14 00:09:19 UTC
it is very common to get this error when going forward and backwards in totem:

ERROR alsa(24391) gstalsa.c(803):gst_alsa_pcm_wait: <alsasink0>
error waiting for alsa pcm: (-5: Input/output error)

from this moment on there is no sound.

Could you try current cvs?
I've done some fixes, those should help (at least they should probably
produce an error ;))
Comment 2 Diego González 2004-02-14 10:24:50 UTC
ok, no more alsa errors, although the A-V sync seems to be worse now.
Comment 3 Diego González 2004-02-14 17:54:30 UTC
by the way, this is the first time that i play some complete songs
with a gstreamer based player in a lot of time, but i'm seeing some
sileces of several seconds (2 or 3 seconds) even when there is no load
on my box.

i don't know if it is related to this patch.
