Thanks for the bug report. This appears to be a unique stack trace,
according to the simple-dup-finder. I'm setting fields appropriately.

I also have the same problem. I've tried to update Nautilus, but it
haven't solved.

With nautilus-2.5.7-1 the problem has disappeared for me.

I've upgraded more parts and now the error windows doesn't appears,
but when I clic in preferences/control centre, the control centre
doesn't appears, just a new window called "preferences" is opened, but
clicking in the "control centre" icon, nothing occurs.
Comment 14 Matthew Gatto 2004-02-18 06:34:03 UTC
ok, I'll take that as a yes.

Adding TARGET2.6.0, given the quantity of dups.

Comment 21 Alexander Larsson 2004-03-02 12:52:51 UTC
bug 133808 has some debug information. Seems like it might be related
to the GNOME_VFS_Daemon_deRegisterVolumeMonitor call, although that
only happens on shutdown.

Comment 23 Alexander Larsson 2004-03-02 13:29:07 UTC
Bug 135063 clearly shows that this is happening in the normal shutdown
path. However, in that case the main nautilus process doesn't die.
Perhaps for some reason we spawn an extra nautilus that tells the
original nautilus to open a window and then quits.
Comment 24 Alexander Larsson 2004-03-02 14:14:01 UTC
Hopefully this checkin to gnome-vfs will fix this. It will be in the
next gnome-vfs release (after 2.5.8).

2004-03-02  Alexander Larsson  <alexl@redhat.com>

	* libgnomevfs/gnome-vfs-volume-monitor-client.c:
	(gnome_vfs_volume_monitor_client_class_init),
	(read_drives_from_daemon), (read_volumes_from_daemon),
	(gnome_vfs_volume_monitor_client_finalize):
	* libgnomevfs/gnome-vfs-volume-ops.c: (force_probe),
	(emit_pre_unmount):
	Handle NIL return from _gnome_vfs_client_get_daemon().
	Hopefully fixes #133808.
Comment 25 Luis Villa 2004-03-05 02:16:48 UTC
Marking FIXED. We'll reopen if we get more dups.
