The thing where you can have smart bookmarks appear at the end of the drop down menu from the location bar is epiphany's #1 feature and galeon's #1 weakness. This is just like mozilla with search engines only more flexible and cooler. Having to type google <search terms> is not convenient. I could just type google <enter>, search terms <enter> and get the same thing. Besides then I have to remember them all if I have a few smart bookmarks. This is a really nice ui addition that could probably be lifted in its entirety from from epiphany's source. viva el software libre!

Galeon has not seen any code changes since May 2010: https://git.gnome.org/browse/archive/galeon/log This project is not under active development anymore and got recently archived in GNOME Git. It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
