GStreamer was configured to use arts sound deamon. Rhythmbox played one 
music crashing afterwards. Everytime it was restarted and I tryed to start 
playing a music it crashed again. 
 
After changing GStreamer to OSS it stopped crashing. 
 
NOTE: I am using arts-1.1.94 (KDE 3.2 Beta2)

could you be more specific ?
i see no gstreamer version, no test media file attached, no backtrace

  - it is still an issue
