For some reason GStreamer does not recognice my sound card, or doesn't mix
very good with ALSA. I have compiled gnome-applets and gnome-media and now
i can't change the volume of my sound card.

gnome-volume-control says that i have no sound card
mixper_applets doesn't say anything, i just doesn't let me change the volume

i'm using ALSA on Linux 2.6.0.

this is quite strage, i'm playing with jamboree, from it i can chage
the volume, but gnome-volume-control and mixer_applet2 do not find my
card, i can't change the volume from them.
