Description Christopher Culver 2004-01-14 22:56:01 UTC
I find the feature in which galeon pops up a "Discard Changes?" dialogue
annoying. On some weblogs, if I view a comments page, the weblog
automatically fills my name and website address in the comments fields in
case I want to leave a comment. If I close the tab, galeon assumes that the
user filled in those fields, even though they were automatically filled in,
and pops up the dialogue. For people who visit numerous blogs, this becomes
a nuisance quickly.

Ahh, god damn javascript !

Hmm, I'm not too sure what to do for this :(

Our logic basically checks to see if any form elements are different
from their default, however the javascript on these sites fills in the
boxes directly. I'm not too sure how to differentiate between being
filled in with javascript and being filled in by an actual user

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
However, you are using a version that is too old and not supported anymore.

Galeon developers won't be fixing or back porting any fixes for this version. Please upgrade to latest stable Galeon version to receive bug fixes.
We are sorry it could not be fixed for your version.
