Description Jon Kåre Hellan 2003-12-19 23:24:32 UTC
A user was unable to open files stored by gnumeric 1.2.1 in gnumeric native
format. http://bugs.debian.org/224482. It turned out that the author field
of summary contained improperly encoded xml. The author name was taken from
the gecos field of the passwd entry with no validation or transcoding.

We also have to help people who have already made badly formed
documents. It's surpising that this hasn't come up before.
