Description Carlos Rodrigues 2003-12-19 14:32:37 UTC
Sometimes I cannot unmount the cdrom even though I have nothing using it.
It gives a "busy" error. Using lsof I see that fam still has a open
directory on the cdrom. Maybe nautilus isn't telling fam to stop monitoring
stuff sometimes?

I'm unable to reproduce this on demand. It happens often but not always.
The only way out is to logoff or restart xinetd as root.

If you can, try upgrading to nautilus >= 2.4.1, and fam >= 2.7.0. I
observed this problem in nautilus 2.4.0 and fam 2.6.10, but after
upgrading I don't see this problem anymore.
