Description Richard Hult 2003-12-11 22:00:18 UTC
We need a bit more control over the printing behavior.
Comment 1 Heath Wilkinson 2004-04-15 15:06:41 UTC
I am working on this.
Comment 2 Renuka Sane 2004-05-28 06:22:05 UTC
There should also be a way to change the font size of the tasks mentioned in the
gnatt charge. The current zoom in option, doesn't really change the font size.
Also, there should be a way to do giant printouts - any font size -
where planner should emit a postscript file which when printed on an
ordinary a4|letter printer, gives you the pieces and then you can
paste them together.
Comment 3 Richard Hult 2004-05-28 08:19:13 UTC
The latter is what is currently does (gives you pieces to put together).
Comment 4 Alexey Zilber 2004-06-18 01:35:12 UTC
I think what Renuka means, and what would be nice to see, is if say, you have a
plotter or type of printer where the length of the paper isn't an issue, so you
can print say 10x50 or some size like that.. would be nice. OR, what about PDF
export? You can export to PDF in that size then leave it to Acrobat reader to
resize to your printer. I'm currently "trying" to do that with cups and the
zoom options, but it's hardly clean. The date options would be wonderful,
expesially if it could be used in the preview combined with the zoom option.
Comment 5 Martin Persson 2004-09-27 13:09:49 UTC
What I currently really wish for is a way to tell planner to start printing from
the current date instead of the project start and also a simple "Print n of m
pages". If it wasn't for that, this program fills all my current needs.

This feature doesn't exist in the current release in FC2, which I feel is pretty
annoying since my project dates usually changes so much that only the first page
(if any) makes sense to print anyway...

Comment 8 Heath Wilkinson 2005-11-28 23:17:09 UTC
Although it must be obvious by now because of my inactivity, I just have not had
any time to work on any meaningful coding and I do not see my situation
improving anytime in the near future. Sorry everyone.
Comment 9 Marko Käning 2006-01-17 21:00:16 UTC
I have a larger project with a long time scale which has big time spans with up to now nothing filled in. Selecting a zoom range would greatly improve useability of printouts.
Comment 10 Massimo Franco 2007-02-09 15:23:46 UTC
It would be nice to be able to have "fit to [ ] page(s)" option.
