Description Sridhar Ratna 2003-12-06 12:43:43 UTC
Description of Problem:
Middle-clicking and draging a file to other window shows a menu containing ..
* move
* copy
* link here

Also it would be better (FR) if
* shiftclick-drag will move the file/directory
* ctrlclick-drag will copy
* altctrlclick-drag will make symlink

More clearer:
Press Shift key and drag the file - then the file will be _moved_ without the menu for example.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.
2.
3.

How often does this happen?

Additional Information:
I use nautilus 2.4.0 that came along with slackware 9.1

I don't get it. You describe the current system, except shift-ctrl is for symlink.

No response, I'm going to reopen and mark as NOTABUG based on Alex's comment.
