GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 12754
Crop From Selection, doesn't quite.
Last modified: 2009-08-15 18:40:50 UTC
Package: gimp Version: 1.1.23 Name........: Simon Edwards Email.......: simon@simonzone.com Platform....: Linux Mandrake 7.0, lintel. GIMP Version: 1.1.23 GTK Version.: 1.2.7 WM/Version..: KDE 1.1.2 -- Other system notes: -- -- Problem description: Sometimes when I'm cropping and want use the current selection (which is just a dragged out box), the crop markers go to the selection but the right side of the crop box will be about 4 pixels to the right of selection box. i.e. 4 pixels too wide. This happens about 10% - 20% of the time. But once it happens I can drag the crop marks and hit "From Selection" and they go back to the same wrong position. So, it's not just the first time that I hit "From Selection". -- -- How to repeat: I'll let you know I find a foolproof method. -- -- Other comments: I've noticed this on 1.1.21, 1.1.22 and now 1.1.23. Another thing is that I'm using lots of guides. My selection box is 'snapped' too a few guides as well. I don't know if that is relevant. -- ------- Bug moved to this database by debbugs-export@bugzilla.gnome.org 2001-01-28 10:54 ------- This bug was previously known as bug 12754 at http://bugs.gnome.org/ http://bugs.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12754 Originally filed under the gimp product and general component. Changing status - tehre has been no other verification of this, and I've never seen it in 1.2.x. Can anyone verify if this problem exists?
No further info has been received since almost two years, including after a reminder posted last year. Let's assume that the bug has been fixed in the meantime.
The fix is assumed to be part of the stable release 1.2.4 (or earlier). Closing this bug.
